There will be a coffee break and a lunch break so you will need sandwiches and a flask.  Please make sure you have adequate water with you, especially during hot weather.

3RD MAY

(1)  ANGLEZARKE  MOORS &  RESERVOIRS (M/c Walking Festival) – 12.5 Miles
Meet at CP opp Rivington High School. SD 635 127.
Rivington Pike, Tower, Higher Hempshaws, Spittlers Edge, Great Hill, White Coppice, The Goit, Anglezarke &  Rivington Reservoirs

(2)  HOLCOMBE BROOK – 9 Miles
Meet Hare & Hounds, Holcombe Brook BL0 9SA, GR SD 779 152.
Walk: Summerseat, Nuttall Park, Stubbins, Irwell Vale, Robin Hood’s Well and return.

(3)  TOCKHOLES & ABBEY VILLAGE – 7 Miles
MP Tockholes Visitor Centre GR SD 665 214
A different route through Roddlesworth Woods to Abbey Village and back

(4)  WHITE COPPICE ROUND – 5/6 Miles
MP White Coppice Cricket Ground (sign-posted off A 674).  PR6 9DE
White Coppice, The Goit, Wheelton Plantation, Brinscall, White Coppice Farm.

MEMBERS COACH TRIP TO GRANGE

THERE WILL BE A NUMBER 4 LOCAL WALK - LONGWORTH CLOUGH – 6 Miles
MP Eagley Sports Centre/Cricket Club CP: follow Blackburn Road, A 666 to Dunscar Bridge.  Turn acute right and follow cobbled road to carpark. Signposted.  BL7 9PF
Longworth Clough, Lower Fold Farm, Spring and Dingle Reservoirs and return.

17TH MAY

(2)  NORTH BOLTON RAMBLE   (Manchester Walking Festival) – 9/10 Miles
Park at Ouzel Nest car park,, Chapeltown Road.  GR SD 729 141 
A leader will meet train travellers at Bromley Cross Railway Station at 10.30a.m.when the train is due to arrive.

Walk to Ringley Woods using Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal network and bridges Wilson, Sion and Meccano

Meet Derby Arms, Whitherslack LA11 6RH, GR SD 933 544. Park on road, not in CP of Derby Arms.
Walk: Whitherslack, Yewbarrow, Thorthinsty Hall.

(3)  MINES, CANALS AND RAILWAYS (Manchester Walking Festival) – 6.5 Miles
MP Clifton Country Park Visitor Centre. Take A666 from Kearsley towards Clifton. Turn left into Clifton House Rd, go under the railway to the visitor centre. GR SD 771 041

Meet at Morrisons, Harwood.  Please park at the far end of the car park BL2 3HN, GR SD 738 120,
