Manchester Urban Heritage ramble (PLEASE NOTE THIS STARTS AT 12.00 noon) – 4 miles
Meet at Victoria station as near to 12.00 as possible, by the old café.
Walk – Medieval quarter, Castlefield, Salford Quays, Rochdale canal towpath, Gay village, followed by a meal in the northern quarter.
9th December
Hoghton Hike – 6.5 miles
Meet and park on A675 Bolton Road, Riley Green. Nearest postcode: PR5 0SP. GR: 624 252 (near what was the Boatyard pub).
Walk – Riley Green, L&L Canal, Feniscowles, Hoghton Bottoms, return.
16th December
Christmas lunch and Egerton walk – 2 hour walk
Meet and park on or near to Thomas Egerton pub, Blackburn Road, BL7 9SR. GR: 709 150. Everyone invited, no need to book, just turn up! Meal booked for 3.00 pm.

Burrs circular – 6 miles
Meet and park in Burrs country park, Woodhill Road, at the first carpark as you enter the park,
Bury, BL8 1DA. GR: 801 123.
Walk – Burrs, Kirklees valley, Tottington, Holcombe Brook, Summerseat and return.

Ainsworth, the Final Frontier – 7 miles
Meet and park Manchester Road Bolton, on the carpark near Halfords, BL2 1HE. GR: 723 083.
Walk – Bradley Fold, Ainsworth, maybe return!!!
