(2) Around the Irwell Valley – 8.5 miles
Car to: The Horseshoe Pub, Fold Road Ringley. M26 1FT.
Walk – Ringley Woods, Outwood Trail, Hurstwood, Philips Park, Clifton Viaduct, Clifton Country Park and return.
(3) Old Birtle – 7 miles
Meet & park at Bury Lido free car park, BL9 6NG. Take 1st right after Clarence Park, Royal Ave.
Walk – Bevis Green, Buckhurst School, Birtle Church, Chesham Wood and return
(4) Smithills – 5 miles
Meet & park at main car park Moss Bank Park, BL1 6NB.
