Walk – Sorrow Cow farm, Gerrard bridge, Leeds Liverpool canal, Bickershaw Marina, Shortland Place and return.

Meet at in Bolton Rd, leading to Taywood Rd, Hunger Hill.

Cars to Watergrove Reservoir car park. Turn left off the A58 Rochdale to Littleborough road towards Wardle and drive through the village, past the Globe Inn to the car park. Nearest Postcode OL12 9NH, GR SD 911 176.
Walk – Watergrove Reservoir, Rough Hill, Freeholds Top, Hades Hill, Brown Wardle and return, involves quite a lot of ascent.
