1st November
(1) Foulridge Round – 11 miles
Park at Foulridge. SD 888 426. Take the M65 which becomes the start of the A6068 for a short Colne distance. Head north on A56 to Foulridge.
Walk – Colne Water, Trauden, Wycoller, Laneshaw Bridge and back to Foulridge.
(2) Worsley Loop Line and Bridgewater Canal – 8 miles
Cars to Worsley Court House Car Park – opposite the Courthouse just off the Worsley main roundabout, also some limited road parking adjacent to the courthouse. M28 2PD. GR SD 7480 0041.
Walk – Bridgewater canal, Guided busway, Worsley Loop line, Worsley Marriott, RHS and return.
(3) Smithills Round – 7 miles
Meet & park Smithills Hall car park, BL1 7NP. GR 698 1119.
Walk – Smithills country park, Horrocks Fold, Dunscar, Gale Farm, Tippet House.
(4) Leadmines Clough War Memorial – 5 miles
Meet on Rivington Village Green (park in the neighbourhood). BL6 7SD.
Walk – Dean Wood House, Leadmines Clough, the Memorial, Jephson’s Farm, Anglezarke Reservoir.
8th November
(1) A Breath of Sea Air! – 12 miles
Park opposite North Euston Hotel on Fleetwood Esplande. SD 338 484 (FY7 6BN).
Walk – Along seafront to South Pier, Blackpool. Return to Fleetwood by tram. Afterwards, Fish and chip tea at Seminars, Fleetwood Road North, Fleetwood, FY5 4AB.
(2) Whittlestone Head – 8 miles
Cars to Grainings Wood Car Park, off A666 soon after the Darwen Boundary Sign, BB3 2TU. GR SD 700 199.
Walk – Grainings Wood, Whitehall farm, Witton Weavers Way, Polish Airmen Memorial, Cadshaw, Whittlestone Head, Cranberry, Jack Key Reservoir and return.
(3) Stoneclough – 7 miles
Meet & park La Roma restaurant, M2 6GT.
Walk – Shoretop, Outwood trail, Giants Seat & return.
(4) Sky Walk – miles
Meet at Manchester Road, Bolton on the car park near Halfords, BL2 1HE.
Walk – to Bradley Fold Garden Centre and return.
(5) Good old Darcy! – 3 miles
Park at the Volunteer pub, Radcliffe Rd, Darcy Lever, BL3 1RS.
Walk – around the area, no stiles! Followed by an optional pasty lunch in the Volunteer.

(1) Around and over Pendle – 11 miles
Park at SD 775 380. Take right hand side of Clitheroe Road coming out of Sabden.
Walk – Nick of Pendle, Spence Moor, Ogden Clough, Beacon of Big End, Burst Clough, Little Mearley Hall, Mearley Hall.
(2) Witton Country Park – 8 miles
Cars to: Pleasington Playing Fields Car Park, turn into Tower Road then right into Car Park. BB2 5GX. GR SD 655 268.
Walk – Billinge Wood, Wainwright memorial, Hoghton Bottoms, Pleasington, River Darwin and return.
(3) Old Favourites revisited – 3 miles
Meet & park Riding Gate, Tottington Rd, near Grey Mare, BL2 4DP.
Walk – Jumbles, Bradshaw Meadows & return. Hill at beginning of walk.
(4) Harwood Circular – 5/6 miles
Meet at the car park at the bottom end of Longsight Lane, on the right just past Harwood Young People’s Centre, BL2 3JT.
Walk – Arboretum, Hall ‘i ‘th’ Wood, Firwood Fold, Longsight Lane.

(1) A Wander Around the River Lune – 10 miles

Walk – Hoghton, Samlesbury Bottoms, Nabs Head, Riley Green and return.
(3) Turton Tower – 7 miles
Meet & park Turton Tower, Chapeltown Rd, BL7 OHG.
Walk – Entwistle, Wayoh, Chapeltown & return.
(4) Turton Tower – 5 miles
Meet at the top Jumbles car park, off Chapeltown Road. GR SD 129 141.

(1) Garden Center and Marina – 10 miles
Park at entrance to Barton Grange Garden Centre & Marina on A6. SD 501 408. PR3 0BT.
Walk – Short walk under M6, Walmsley Bridge and along Brock River to Brock Bottom, Brock Bridge, Weaver’s Farm, Bleasdale Tower, Landskill, Butt Hill, Clarkson’s Farm, Walmsley Bridge and return to garden centre.
(2) Walk Around Anglezarke – 8.5 miles
Cars to Rivington Village Car Park, Just passed the Bowling Club on the right near Rivington Primary School. BL6 7SE. GR SD 6252 1431.
Walk – Yarrow Reservoir, Anglezarke Reservoir, White Coppice, Grey Heights, Boddy’s Farm Scout Camp, The Street and return.
(3) Rivington – 7 miles

Walk – Yarrow Reservoir, Holland Fold, Limbrick, Leeds Liverpool canal, Hall o’th Hill, Shaw place.
(4) Roaming Round Rivvie – 5 miles
