(2) Scorton – 8.75 miles
Cars to Scorton Picnic area, Cleverley Bridge CP. PR3 1BU. GR SD 504 504. Approx 1 mile N of Scorton Village.
Walk – Nicky Nook, Grize Dale, Scorton and return.
(3) Rivington Ramble – 7 miles
Meet & park on Lever Park Ave on left just before Rivington School nearest postcode BL6 7RU. GR 635 129.
Walk – Rivington school, Yarrow Reservoir, Lower House, the Pike, Higher Knowle.
(4) The Malthouse – 5 miles
Meet & park Brinscall baths. PR6 8QU.
Walk – via White Coppice to “The Malthouse” pub for lunch. Return by bus.

(1) A wander in Wyresdale – 10 miles
Meeting place Scorton picnic area, Ashbournes on the OS map. SD 505 504.
Walk – Wyre Way, Dolphinholme, Swainshead Hall, Lane Head, Fell End, Potter's Hill.
(2) Sizergh Castle and Beyond – 9 miles
Cars to layby just before the Strickland Arms on the road to Sizergh Castle. Leave M6 at Junction 36 turn left onto A591 then left onto A590 and follow signs for castle. LA8 8DZ. GR SD 501 867.
Walk – Castle, Levens Bridge, Sedgwick, Natland, Briggs House Farm and return.
(3) New Walk for no 3’s Beside the Seaside – 7 miles
Meet & park on the prom at Fleetwood near the Euson Hotel PC FY7 6BN
Walk – The Lancs Coastal way. Coffee stop en route, lunch at Cleveleys, then continue along to Bispham. Tram or bus back to Fleetwood. Optional stop on way home for fish & chips at Seniors. Please car share if possible. Bus pass not allowed on Blackpool Trams. Fare on bus or train £3 NO STILES, NO MUD!
(4) Woods and Canals – 5 miles
Meet & park free parking on Wood St, Aspull, WN2 1PJ.
Walk – Borsdane woods, Hindley Golf Club, Top Lock lunch, plantations.
(5) High Rid Reservoir – 2.5 miles
Park at end of Old Kiln Lane (B6042, Near junction of Moss Bank Way and Stapleton Ave).
Walk – Up to the reservoir, and bank. No stiles.

(1) From Hoghton Tower to Yellow Hills – 10 miles
Meeting place Park on Chaple Lane Near Boars Head, PR5 0RX.
Walk – Hoghton Bottoms, Pleasington, Witton Park, Yellow Hills, Samlesbury Bottoms, Bolton Hall.
(2) Hidden Treasures of Sunderland Point – 8 miles
Cars to public car park, opposite The Globe at the end of Main St in Overton, just before the causeway to Sunderland Point. LA3 3HFG. GR SD 433 579.
Walk – Bazil Point, Overton, Sunderland Point, and return via Potts Corner. A mixture of roads, fields and pebbly shoreline paths.
(3) A Little Wood, a Big Wood and a Dam Wood!! – 7 miles

Walk – New Park Hall, Bimsons, Coppull, Willow Tree farm.
(4) Crompton Connections – 5/6 miles
Meet & park car park Longsight Lane BL2 3JS after children’s centre.
Walk – Hall-Ith-Wood & Firwood Fold.

Walk – Jumbles, Wayoh, Entwistle, Turton Tower, and return.
(2) Read + All About It – 9 miles
Cars to: Read car park, signposted close to the Panda crossing in Read village on the A671 Whalley Road. Nearest Postcode BB12 7QD. GR SD 767 348.
Walk – Altham, Leeds Liverpool Canal, Cluster of nuts, Read Hall and return.
(3) Four Golf Clubs – 7.5 miles
Meet & park Broadgate Farm, Junction Rd. West. BL6 4EQ.
Walk – Chew moor, Fall Birch, Bottom o’th moor and Delph hill, return along Middlebrook.
(4) Amblin round the Angles – 5 miles
