Walk – Hornby, Castle Stede, Park House, Mealbank and return.
(3) WHALLEY ALONG THE RIVER – 7 Miles

Walk along river to Old Lango returning via Whalley Nab.
(4) TOTTINGTON ROUND – 6 Miles
Cars to Gisburn Drive, Lowercroft (nearby post code: BL8 3DH).
Walk – Walshaw, Tottington, Affetside and back.
8th MAY
(1) COACH TRIP TO BUXTON – 12.5 Miles
Linear walk from The Cat & Fiddle, Shining Tor, Windgather Rocks, Fernilee Reservoir.
(2) COACH TRIP TO BUXTON – 9 Miles
Linear Walk from Cat & Fiddle, Shooter’s Clough, Errwood Hall, The Street, Errwood Reservoir, Buxton
(3) COACH TRIP TO BUXTON – 6 Miles
A circular walk around Buxton, to include Corbar Wood, Cronford & High Peak Railway (remains of) Grin Low and Solomon’s Temple. There will also be time to explore Buxton, and maybe the Buxton Trail.

(2) GLASSON DOCK – 9 Miles
Cars to: Cockerham Village Hall CP. LA2 0EF, GR SD 465 520.
Walk – Cockersands Abbey, Crook Farm, Glasson Dock, Lancaster Canal, and return.
(3) STUBBINS – 6.5 Miles

Walk – Buckden Clough, Dowry Head, Snig Hole, Irwell Valley, Chatterton.
(4) CANALS AND BRIDGES: THINK VENICE – 5/6 Miles
Meet at Moses Gate car park. BL4 3DN.
Walk to Ringley Woods using the Manchester, Bolton, Bury canal network and bridges Wilson, Sion and Meccano.

Walk – Barrow Bridge, Walker Fold, Winter Hill, Longworth Clough, Gleaves Reservoir, Horrocks Fold and return.
(3) TOCKHOLES LOOP – 7 Miles

Walk – Green Hill, Red Lea Farm,Abbey Village, Roddlesworth.
(4) PENNINGTON FLASH COUNTRY PARK – 5/6 Miles
Meet at Aspull Common car park, off A572, opposite Robin Hood pub. First left at entrance. Free parking. GR: 645 987.
Walk – Sorrowcow Farm, Gerrard’s Bridge, Leeds Liverpool Canal, Bickershaw, Marina, Flash.
(5) BRINSCALL – 2.5 Miles
10.30 am start. Cars to Lodge Bank (please do not use Baths car Park).
Walk – The Goit, White Coppice, Brinscall. Lunch in The Cottage Tea shop or Fish and Chips al fresco.

(2) BURTON AND HUTTON ROOF – 9 Miles
Cars to Morewood Lane Burton in Kendal. From the South (On main street) turn right into Morewood Lane, park on road past the school entrance. GR 531 766. Nearest postcode, LA6 1ND.
Walk – Coat Green, Hutton Roof, Limestone Link and return.
