Meet and park at the Holcombe Tap pub, 13 Bolton Rd, Ramsbottom, BL0 9NA. GR SD 787 162.
A walk taking in Holcombe Moor, Stubbins, Shuttleworth, Grants Tower and return.
10th August
CLITHEROE TO WHALLEY – 7 Miles
Meet at Bromley Cross Station to catch 12.10 train to Whalley (leaves Bolton at 12.00). Buy return ticket to Clitheroe (cost £7.40). If going by car meet at Whalley Railway station to meet the train which arrives at 12.48pm.
Walk – Whalley to Clitheroe following the Rivers Calder and Ribble finishing at Bowland brewery to sample the ales.

WORTHINGTON LAKES – 7 Miles
Meet at Worthington Lakes CP on the A5106. GR SD 580 105.
Walk – Millbridge Farm, Adlington Hall Farm.

HALCYON HOLCOMBE – 7 Miles
Meet – Shoulder of Mutton Pub, Holcombe, at the junction of Lumb Carr Rd and Chapel Lane. GR SD 782 167.
Walk – Peel Tower, Holcombe Head, Lark Hill, Dawes Bank, return.
