(2) Healey Dell Nature Reserve – 8 miles

(3) The Jumbles and Beyond – 7 miles
Meet and park at The Jumbles Waterfold Car Park, off Bradshaw Road. Nearest postcode BL2 3JP.
Walk – Jumbles, Turton Bottoms, Walves Reservoir, Hawkshaw, Two Brooks Valley, Affetside and return. There are a couple of climbs on this walk.

Walk – Wigan Golf Club, Arley Wood, returning via the canal.

Walk – Bus to Town Centre, Maudlands, Lancaster Canal, Haslam Park, Ribble Link Canal, Riversway/Docklands, Avenham Park and walk back to Park and Ride.
(2) Dunsop Bridge and Newton – 8.5 miles

Walk – Wood Lane, Moss Farm, Burrs, Springside Farm, and return for scones/cake, tea/coffee.

Meet and park near the changing rooms at Witton Park, Blackburn, BB2 5LE. Tower Road entrance, off A674 Preston Old Road – Follow signs for Crematorium.
Walk – Cherry Tree, Leeds/Liverpool Canal, Hoghton Bottoms, Throstle Nest Brow, Pleasington Priory and return.
