(2) Edenfield – 8 miles
Cars to top of Bolton Road North at the junction with Bury Road, BL0 0HF. GR SD 79901889.
Walk – Gin Croft Lane, Cowpe Lowe, Waugh’s Well, Scout Fold, Dearden Clough and return.
(3) Peel Monument – 7 miles
Meet at Nuttall Park Car Park, BL0 9LU. GR SD 795 163.
Walk – River Irwell, Stubbins, Buckden Woods, Holcombe Moor, Peel Monument, Holcombe, Nuttall Park.
(4) An Anglezarke Round – 5/6 miles
Meet at George’s Lane opposite the Jolly Crofters, BL6 6RE. GR 659 113. Please avoid the snack van.
Walk – A ramble around Bottom o’ th’ Moor and Ridgmont Park.
13th April
(1) Hoddlesden to Haslingden and back – 11 miles
Meet Haslingden village by side of Ranken Arms SD 715 222 (BB3 3NL).
Walk – Hoddlesden, Shorrock Fold, Pickup Bank, Rossendale Way, Windy Harbour Farm, Holden Wood, Hill End, Rossendale Way, Boardman Close, Lark Hill Farm, Hoddlesden.
(2) Scorton – 9 miles
Cars to Scorton Picnic area, Cleverley Bridge CP, PR3 1BU. GR SD 504 504. Approx. 1 mile N of Scorton Village.
Walk – Nicky Nook, Grize Dale, Scorton and return.
(3) Borsdane Wood Circular – 7 miles
Meet at Aspull Civic Centre Car Park, Woods Road, WN2 1PJ. Grid Ref SD 611078.
Walk – Borsdane Woods, Hindley Golf Club, Top Lock, Leeds Liverpool Canal, Haigh Plantations.
(4) A Ramble Round Holcombe, Ramsbottom and Summerseat – 5/6 miles
Meet at Hare and Hounds car park, off Lumb Carr Road, Holcombe Brook, Ramsbottom, BL0 9RY. GR SD 779152.
Walk – A circular ramble around Holcombe Village, Ramsbottom and Summerseat.
20th April
(1) Ribchester Walk – 12 miles
Meet at T junction in Ribchester, turn L along Church Road, then first right and car park is on the right, PR3 3XP. SD 650352. There is a CP charge.
Walk – Stydd, Duddell Hill, Huntington Hall, Greengore, Hurst Green, Stonyhurst College, Ribble Way, Ribchester.
(2) Silverdale – 9 miles
Cars to Eaves Wood car park, Park Rd, Silverdale, LA5 0UQ. GR 471 759. Car park is small but there is parking on the road. If possible, please car share.
Walk – Eaves Wood, King William’s Hill, Silverdale, Jenny Brown’s Point, Leighton Moss (bring your binoculars).
(3) Knott End Circular – 6.5 miles
Meet at Knott End Café Car Park off Bournemay Road, FY6 0EA.
Walk – Old Pilling Pig Route, Past Lakes, Barnaby Sands, Hackensall Hall and over Golf Course and return.
(4) Haslingden Grane – 6 miles
Meet at the car park at Calf Hey Reservoir / Clough Head Information Centre and Cafe on Grane Road, BB4 4AT. SD 754228.
Walk – Calf Hey Reservoir, Pickup Bank, Rossendale Way, Ogden Reservoir and back to start.
(5) Jumbles Round – 3 miles
Meet at Jumbles cafe car park, off Bradshaw Road. 10.30 Start.
Walk – Leisurely walk round the Lake. Lunch in cafe.
27th April
(1) Hutton Roof – 11 miles
Cars to Plain Quarry car park, LA6 1NL. SD 552 761. Follow A6070 to S end of Burton in Kendal then turn R along Dalton Lane to Plain Quarry.
Walk – Crag House, Hutton Roof, Blasterfoot Gap, Newbiggin Crags, Farleton Knott, Hutton Roof Crags, Dalton Crags, Dalton Park, Coat Green Farm, Dalton Old Hall.
(2) Gargrave – 9 miles
Cars to Gargrave car park. Nearest postcode BD23 3RL. GR SD 932 543.
Walk – Gargrave, Haw Crag, New Laithe, Friars Head, Flasby and Return.
(3) Turton Tower – 6.5 miles
Meet at Turton Tower, Chapeltown Road, BL7 08G.

(4) Step Back To Hollinshed – 5 miles
Meet at Tockholes Information Centre. BB3 0PA.
Walk – Step Back Brook, New Barn, Hollinshead Hall, Slipper Lowe, River Roddlesworth, Roddlesworth Woods, Ryall Fold.
