Walk – Lymm Cross, Trans Pennine Trail, Dunham Massey, Bridgewater Canal.
(2) Witton Weavers Way “Reelers Trail” – 8 miles
Cars to Tesco car park, on A6062 Livesey Branch Road, Fenniscowles, Blackburn, BB2 5AY. GR SD 6551 2560.
Walk – Leeds Liverpool Canal, Abbey Village, Tockholes and return.
(3) Bobs Smithy & Beyond – 7 miles
Meet & park Old Kiln Lane opposite Bob’s Smithy, BL1 7PX.
Walk – Burnt Edge, Walsuches, High Rid & return.
(4) A Jumbles Ramble – 5 miles
Meet at the Jumbles Information Centre car park, BL2 4JS. GR 736140.
Walk – Jumbles, Turton Bottoms, Clough House Lane, Turton Tower, the pill box and return.

(1) A walk from Bollington in Cheshire – 10 miles (hilly)
Starting point is SJ 931 780. Contact leader for more details. Some of the walk will be on the Gritstone Hill.

(2) Burnsal – 8 miles

Walk – River Wharfe to Linton, Linton Falls and return
(3) Old Birtle – 7 miles
Meet & park Bury Lido. Free car park, BL9 6NG. Take A56 Walmersley Road northwards from Bury Town centre. After passing Clarence Park turn first right Royal Ave.
Walk – Bevis Green, Buckhurst School, Scotland Lane, Birtle Church. Return via Chesham Woods.
(4) An Entwistle Reservoir Loop – 5 miles
Meet at Turton Tower car park. BL7 0HG, GD SD731 151.
Walk – To Entwistle and back again.
(5) Worsley canal walk – 3 miles (no stiles & flat)
Cars to Barton Arms, Worsley, M28 2ED.
Walk – along the canal to Monton and return via the old railway line. Lunch in The Barton Arms.

(1) Clapham Walk – 9-10 miles

Walk – St James Church, Long Lane, Pennine Way, Sulber, Nick Crummack, Nappa Scar and Thwaite Lane.
(2) Cockerham and Cockersand Abbey – 8.5 miles
Park at Cockerham Parish Hall, 14 Main St. on the B5272, south of the village, LA2 0EF. GR SD 466 521.
Walk – Bank End, Cockersand Abbey, Lancashire Coastal Way, Old Glasson and return via the dizzy heights of Thursland Hill (Trig point 23 meters!).
(3) The Cragg Valley Coiners Walk – 5.5 miles
Meet & park Mytholmroyd railway station 2.5 miles from Hebden. Postcode HX7 5DZ. GR 014 258.
Walk – Bell Hole, Bell house (David Hartley’s house). The walk is quite hilly ascent 330m on good paths.
(4) A Figure of Eight Walk – 6 miles
Meet at White Coppice cricket pitch, PR6 9DE.
A walk in the area, taking in Brinscall Lodge, The Goit and Anglezarke.

Walk – Chew Moor, Fall Birch, Bottom o’th moor, Delph Hill returning along Middlebrook.
