(1) Great Hill and 3 Reservoirs – 10 miles
Meeting place White Coppice, SD 619 191.
Walk – Great Hill, through Roddlesworth Wood around the reservoirs to Abbey Village along the trail to Brinscall and along the Goit to White Coppice.
(2) Mid Winter Woods and Moors – 8 miles
Cars to Walker Fold Woodland Trust Car Park, Walker Fold Road, Bolton, BL6 6PR. GR SD 67620 12178.
Walk – Walker Fold, Winter Hill, Rivington and return
(3) Smithills – 7.5 miles
Meet & park Smithills Hall adjacent to Hornbeam Close, BL1 7NP. GR 698119.
Walk – Smithills Hall, Hale, Winter Hill, Walker Fold, Barrow Bridge. Could be muddy.
(4) From Mills to Pleasant Pastures – 4 miles
Meet & park Eagley Cricket Club, Dunscar bridge, BL7 9PQ.
Walk – Eagley bank, Longworth Clough, Egerton.

O Come All Ye Faithfull
All walks start from the Barlow/Edgworth Cricket club, SD 741 166, BL7 0AP, followed by pastie and mulled wine in the Cricket club from 2.30pm onwards.
