Meet Derby Street East car park, Cleveleys (£3.50). FY5 1BP. SD 314 431.
Walk – Lancs Coastal Way, Blackpool Central Pier and return.
9th March
Birtle – Ashworth Moor Reservoir – 7.5 miles
Meet at Pack Horse Inn car park, Birtle Road, BL9 7TU. SD 836 125. Go through Bury on the B6222, Rochdale Road and past Fairfield Hospital on the right. Pass Texaco Garage on left and turn left just after Jericho Methodist Church onto Elbut Road, signposted to Old Birtle. Carry on up Birtle Road, ignore dead end signs, and the Pack Horse Inn is on the right.
Walk – Gleggs Wood, Greengate Hill, Ashworth Moor Reservoir, Croston Close, Mawkin Farm.

Knott The End Of The World – 8 miles
Meet and park in free public car park, behind Knott End Cafe, 3 Ramsay Ct, Knott-End-on-Sea, FY6 0EA. SD 346 485.
Walk – Hackensall Hall, Presall, The Pilling Pig, maybe Fluke Hall, and a bracing coastal walk back.
