Walk – Rossendale Way, Calf Hey Reservoir, Ogden Reservoir, Holden Arms, Windy Harbour and Clough Head.
(4) The Pike Shack – 5 miles
Meet and park at the bottom of Georges Lane, BL6 6RU.
Walk – Wilderswood, Pike Shack, Fishing club, Wallsuches and return.

(2) Heaton Park and Blackley Forest – 8 miles
Cars to Heaton Park, St Margaret’s Road entrance. Car Park on the left hand side across from the bowling greens (£3.50 parking fee), M25 2GT. GR SD 825 046.
Walk – Heaton Hall, River Irk, Alkrington Hall and return via Blackley Forest to Heaton Park places of interest.
(3) Greenmount and Redisher Woods Revisited – 6 miles
Meet & park at The Hub Café, Brandlesholme Road, Greenmount, BL8 4DR.
Walk – Tottington, Hawkshaw and return.
(4) Rambling to Radcliffe – Bus Ramble – 5.5 miles
Park & meet on the Lower car park, Moses Gate. BL4 7QS
Walk – A really flat walk (1 hill) following Bury/Bolton Canal. Returning by bus (don’t forget your bus pass).
(5) Longsight Park – 2.5 miles
Meet and park at Longsight Methodist Church & café, BL2 3HX.

(2) Up and Over to Waugh’s Well – 8 miles

Walk – Scout Moor Wind Farm, Waugh’s Well, Cowpe Lowe, Dearden Clough and return.
(3) Beside the Seaside – 7 miles
Meet & park on the prom at Fleetwood near the North Euston Hotel, FY7 6BN.
Walk – The Lancs Coastal Way. Coffee stop en route, lunch at Cleveleys, then continue along to Bispham. Train or bus back to Fleetwood. Optional stop on way home for fish & chips at Seniors. NO STILES, NO MUD!
