A Bold Venture to the tower and beyond – 7 miles
Meet and park at Bold Venture Park BB3 2SF. Parking available on Borough Rd.
Walk – Bold Venture Park, Darwen Tower, Earnsdale reservoir, Sunnyhurst woods. Please note, some climbing involved.
11th July
Scorton, Grizedale, Nicky Nook – 7 miles
Meet and park at the rear of the “Barn” carpark in Scorton Park, PR3 1AU. G.Ref: 502 487.
Walk – Scorton, Wyresdale Park, Nicky nook, Grizedale and return. Optional meal at the “Barn “afterwards.

Cheesden Valley – 7 miles
Meet and park at the Pack Horse pub Elbut lane, Birtle, Bury BL97TU
Walk – Explore the Cheesden valley, once a hub of Victorian industry. Today tumbled walls, peaceful ponds and evocative remains recall this lively past, secreted in wooded gorges amidst colourful moors high above Bury!

Up and around Great Hill – 6.5 miles
Meet and park by Brinscall baths on Lodge Rd. PR6 8QU.
Walk – Great Hill, Joe’s cup, White Coppice, Tootals farm, Withnell barn and farmhouse.
