(1) Jumbled Up – 11.5 miles
Meeting place Jumbles car park, Chapeltown Rd, BL7 9NQ. SD 730 141.
Walk – Jumbles res, Chapeltown, Edgworth, Jumbles res, Affetside, Harwood, Longsight Park, Bradshaw and return.
(2) Glazebury Round – 9 miles
Cars to Bents Garden Centre, Warrington Road, Glazebury, WA3 5NT. GR SD 672 978. Park at the back of the car park toward ‘click and collect’.
Walk – Bents, Bedford Hall, Pennington Flash, Culcheth Carrs, Hitchfield Wood, Light Oaks Hall, Windy Bank Wood, Bents, Flat walk, few stiles.
(3) Burrs to a Tower and Return – 7 miles
Meet & park at Burrs Country Park, Woodhill Road, Bury, BL8 1DA. Please use the large car park, 2nd on right as you enter Burrs Country Park.
Walk – Burrs, Nangreaves, Grants Tower, Nuttall Park and return via Summerseat.
(4) A little bit of Anglezarke – 5 miles
Meet and park on embankment, Knowsley Lane, Anglezarke, PR6 9DQ.
Walk – Reservoir edge, High Bullough Quarry, return via Yarrow and waterfall. 3-4 short hills with benches at top for a rest. Option to visit viewpoint.

(1) Across The Moss – 11 miles
Meeting place Car Parks at end of Drapers Avenue, Eccleston. PR7 5SY. SD 522 169
Walk – Eccleston, Croston Village, Croston Moss, Leeds/Liverpool Canal, River Douglas, Croston, Eccleston.
(2) Weets Hill – 9 miles
Cars to Foulridge Wharf car park. Park at far end away from Cafe Cargo, BB8 7PP. GR SD 888 426.
Walk – Leeds Liverpool canal, Weets Hill, Pendle Way, Foulridge Lower reservoir and return.
(3) Edenfield Explorer – 6.5 miles
Meet and park at Bleakholt animal sanctuary, Bury Old Road, Off Rochdale Road, BL0 0RX.
Walk – Waugh’s Well and up among the wind turbines. Some steep sections but only one stile.
(4) Hawkshaw Stroll – 4.6 miles
Park on Hawkshaw Lane, BL8 4LD. Meet at The Waggon & Horses pub, 360 Bolton Road, Hawkshaw. BL8 4JG.
Walk – Waggon & Horses pub, Red Lion pub, Simons Farm, Redisher Farm, Hawkshaw Lane and return. Steady climb from Red Lion.
(5) Around Jumbles Reservoir – 3 miles
Park and meet at main Jumbles car park off Bradshaw Road. GR 737 142.
A walk around the jumbles with optional lunch in the café.
22nd July
(1) Four Yorkshire Villages – 10.2 miles
Meeting place Church Avenue, Clapham, LA2 8EQ. Grid ref 745 693 or park in the Yorkshire Dales car off Church Ave (charge payable).
Walk – Thwaite Lane, Austwick, Feizor, Wharfe, Crummackdale, Long Lane, back to Clapham.
(2) Come Roam With Me – 9 miles
Cars to Castleshaw Centre and Roman Fort car park, Waterworks Road, Delph, OL3 5LZ. GR SD 996 094.
Walk – Castleshaw reservoirs, Delph, Dobcross, Brownhill Countryside Centre, Diggle, Castleshaw Roman Fort and return.
(3) Euxton & Worden Park – 7 miles
Meet & park at Greenside Recreation Fields, Euxton, PR 6BL. SD 550 192.
Walk – Millennium green, Euxton Park, Runshaw Moor, Worden Park.
(4) Horrocks Fold and Woods – 5 miles
Meet and park at Smithills Hall car park, Bolton. BL1 7NP.
Walk – Around woods, fields and farms. Lovely views, mostly good paths, a bit of up and down but lots of benches for rests. Maybe even an ice cream.
29th July
(1) Lothersdale and Pinhaw Beacon – 10 miles
Meeting place parking across from Red Lion pub in Earby. BB18 6RD, SD 911 467.
Walk – Dark Lane, Bent Laithe, Lothersdale, Pennine Way to Pinhaw Beacon, Elslack Reservoir and return to Earby.
(2) Sizergh Castle & Beyond – 9 miles
Cars to layby just before the Strickland Arms on the road to Sizergh Castle. Leave M6 at Junction 36 turn left onto A591 then left onto A590 and follow signs for castle. LA8 8DZ, GR SD 501 867.
Walk – Castle, Levens Bridge, Sedegwick, Natland, Briggs House Farm and return.
(3) Bilsborrow Ramble – 7.5 miles
Meet & park at Bilsborrow Village Hall Car Park, Church Lane, Bilsborrow, PR3 0RX.
Walk – Mainly fields, riverside, woodland paths, quiet lanes. Some short easy climbs. For those who want post walk refreshments The White Bull and ‘Owd Nells at The Thatched Hamlet are nearby.
(4) Burrs Country Meander – 5.5 miles
Meet and park at Burrs Country Park Chimney, Woodhill Road, Bury. BL8 1DA.
