Walk – Thompson House, Patrick farm, Blainscough Hall, Langtree Hall.


9th March

A new walk: Tontine and Billinge Hill – 6.5 miles
Meet and park outside the Delph Tavern, Tontine, WN5 8UJ. GRSD: 525 044.
Walk – Pimbo bushes, Great Houghwood, Billinge Hill, Mountains Farm.


16th March

The Scotch Man and I – 7.5 miles
Meet and park near Curleys, Wallsuches, BL6 6PP. GRef: 659 114.
Walk – Wilderswood, Winter Hill, Noon Hill, return

23th March

Manchester Urban Heritage Ramble part 2. Waterways and Bridges – 7 miles. Starts at 12 noon.
Meet at Victoria station by the old cafe at 12.00 noon.
Walk – Following the River Irwell down to Salford Quays and Media City. Return via Bridgwater Way, and City Centre ending with a meal in the Northern Quarter.

Chorley 3 Peaks circular (this will be a hard walk) – 12 miles. Starts at 10.30am

Walk – Great Hill, Winter Hill, and Rivington Pike.
