Walk – Birkdale, Ainsdale, Formby Red Squirrel, Formby Point (NT) Hightown Station. Return to Southport by train, then Park and Ride bus to car park.
(2) Two Waterfalls, Two Caves, Hippos And Elephants – 8.5 miles
Cars to Greenfoot car park Settle. Turn right just after the Falcon Manor Hotel and follow the road round. Postcode BD24 9HL. GR SD 820 634.
Walk – Settle, Stainforth Force, Catrigg Force, Jubilee Cave, Victoria Cave, and return.
(3) Yarrow Valley Country Park, Off Birkacre Rd – 7 miles
Meet at Yarrow Valley Country Park, PR7 3RN.
Walk – Birkacre, Burgh Hall, Duxburry Woods & Yarrow Valley
(4) The Heaton Round – 5 miles
Meet at Doffcocker Lodge car park (opposite The Triangle}. BL1 5SL. GR 687104.

Walk – Stonehead Farm, Swainshead Hall, Little Catshaw, Abbeystead, Grizedale Bridge, War Memmorial, Bank Wood, Wyre Way and home.
(2) Wycoller – 9.25 miles
Cars to Ball grove Park & Nature Reserve car park, BB8 7HL. GR SD 908 404.
Turn right off A6068 Keithley Rd, Approx 0.5 miles past B6250 Trawden Rd (signed Ball Grove Park).
Walk – Winewall, Hollin Hall, Oaken Bank, Bronte Way, Wycoller, Covey Bridge and return.
(3) Hills Of Haslingden – 7 miles
Meet and park at the Holden Arms Grane Road, BB4 4PD.
Walk – A circular moderate walk with a mix of scenery farmland, hills, reservoirs, and quarries.
(4) High Quality Tockholes – 5-6 miles
Meet at the car park at Tockholes Information Centre, BB3 0PA.
Walk – Tockholes, Higher Hill, Abbey Village, Roddlesworth.
(5) Georges Lane – 3.5 miles
Meet and park on Georges Lane, opposite the Jolley Crofters, BL6 6RE. GR 659113.
Walk – Ridgmont House via the cemetery, across the main road and along the track to Curley’s, for a lunch stop if you wish.

Cars to George’s Lane, Horwich at 10:00am, BL6 6RE. GR SD 659 113. to catch Chorley bus (125) to start of the walk OR meet at 10:30am at Yarrow Bridge Hotel, PR7 4AB. GR SD 591 162. (Park in Hoggs Lane).
Walk – Linear walk from Yarrow Bridge, Leeds/Liverpool Canal, Healey Nab, Angelzarke, Rivington and George’s Lane
(3) A Stroll Around Bolton – 7 miles
Meet at Cotton Kier, BL1 8TS, Eagley Brook Way. Turn off Blackburn Road at McDonalds destination on left at roundabout.
Walk – Bank Top, Eagley, Dunscar Smithills and return
(4) Yarrow Valley – 6 miles
Meet at Yarrow Valley Country Park car park, past the Birkacre Garden Centre, off Birkacre Road, PR7 3QL. GD 570153.
Walk – Birkacre, Burgh Hall, Duxbury Wood, Yarrow Valley Park and back to Birkacre.
