(3) Whitlestone Wander – 6 miles

Walk – Whittlestone Head, Core Farm, Edge Fold, Entwistle Reservoir, Lowe Hill, Tom Barn.
(4) Cutacre Country Park – 5 miles
Meet at Cutacre car park (free) on the A6 at GR 697055. Postcode: BL5 1ED
Walk – A circular walk with great views!

(1) Waddington Walk – 10 miles

(2) Coal Mines and Mineral Railways – 8 miles

Walk – Cutacre, Gin Pit, Tyldesley, Mosley Common and return.
(3) A Cutacre Constitutional – 6.5 miles
Meet at Cutacre car park, BL5 1BS.
Walk – Visiting the “Pretoria Pit Disaster” Memorial and surrounding area.
(4) A Nosey Around Edgworth – 5 miles
Meet at the Barlow Institute, BL7 0AP. GR 742167.
Walk – Pelton Fold. Birches, The Black Bull, Isherwood Fold, Blackburn Road.
15th March
(1) Turton Moor – 10 miles
Start at car park north end of Egerton near Cross Guns PH, BL7 9TH. SD 707 153.
Walk – Delph res. Belmont res. High Pasture Barn Farm, Cadshaw, Turton & Entwistle res. Turton Heights, Dimple Hall.
(2) Longridge – 8.5 miles

Walk – Doe Hill, Greengore, Spire Hill, Kemple End, Stonyhurst College and return.

(1) Leyland and Villages – 11 miles
Park at Tesco Carpark, Towngate, Leyland. (Zone 4) SD 540 216 (PR25 2FN).
Walk – Worden Park, Moss Side, Croston, Eccleston, Worden Park.
(2) We Flank The Banks of Sankey – 9 miles
Cars to Sankey Valley Park Car Park, Newton Le Willows. From the A49 turn onto Crow Lane A572 and then left onto Victoria Road then follow the signs for the community hospital and carry on down to the canal. Nearest Postcode WA12 8RB. GR SJ 576 944.
Walk – Bradlegh Old Hall, Waggon Lane, Grange valley and return.
(3) Two Villages & 4 Waterways Bretherton & Croston – 7 miles
Park at Bretherton Playground, 39 South Street, PR26 9AH. SD 481 205. Look for small entrance between houses, with a defibrillator sign – just before "The Old Cornmill" antiques & tearoom opposite.
Walk – in the area.
(4) An Anglezarke Round – 5 miles
Meet on Knowsley Lane, about 300 yards after the Yew Tree Inn, by the Anglezarke Reservoir. Nearest postcode PR6 9HA.
Walk – around Anglezarke.
(5) Doffcocker walk – 2.5-3 miles
Meet at Doffcocker Lodge car park
Walk round Lodge. Moss Bank Park. Lunch in Triangle cafe.
29th March
(1) Bolton by Bowland – 10 miles
SD 783 494 (BB7 4NW). Take A59 just beyond Chatburn and turn left at minor road (SD 778 458) for a very short distance then left and then right northwards over Sawley Bridge to Bolton by Bowland. Carpark is just over Skirden Bridge on the right.
Walk – Bolton by Bowland, Forest Becks, Monubent Head, Paythorne Bridge, Gisburne Park, Fooden, Bolton by Bowland.
(2) Slaidburn – 8 miles
Cars to Slaidburn car park, next to the Café, small charge (£2.50), BB7 3ES. GR SDE 712 523.
Walk – Slaidburn, Easington Fell, Newton-in-Bowland and return via the river Hodder.
(3) Abbey Village – 7 miles
Park on Dole Lane opposite the Hare and Hounds on the A675 Belmont, PR6 8DP.
Walk – Sunnyhurst woods Tockholes village and the area.
(4) Daffodil Walk – 5 miles
Meet at George’s Lane opposite the Jolly Crofters. Please avoid parking by the snack van. GR 659 113. BL6 6RE.
Walk – A ramble around Bottom o’ th’ Moor, Wilderswood and Ridgmont Park, hopefully with daffodils!
