(1) SAWLEY/DOWNHAM – 11 Miles
Park at Spread Eagle Pub CP Sawley. Park at rear of CP: SD 77 64 65 (BB7 4QS).
Walk – Ribble Way, Old Sawley Grange, Rimmington, Downham, Worsaw Hill, Chatburn, Sawley.
(2) GAWTHORPE HALL – 8 Miles
Park in NT. Car park (free) at Gawthorpe Hall Padiham, BB12 8SD, GR SD 806 340. Drive through Padiham and follow the brown NT signs.
Walk – Gawthorpe Hall, Habergham Dr. Bronte Way, Pendle way, Higham, Stump Hall, Northwood Farm, Grove Lane Plantation.
(3) ALL TANDLED UP – 7.5 Miles
MP Pavillion Café – Chadderton Hall Park, Chadderton Hall Road, Oldham, OL9 0QP. GR SD 896 063. Small car park in Park near café if full park on Chadderton Hall Road.
Walk – Rochdale Canal and Tandle Hill Country Park.
(4) RIVINGTON – 5 Miles
Meet at the car park MP CP opposite Rivington & Blackrod High School, BL6 7RU. GR SD 635 128.
A walk in the area depending on the conditions on the day.
(5) WHITE COPPICE CIRCULAR – 2.5 Miles
10.30 am start Cars to Lodge Bank, Brinscall (please do not park on the bath’s car park).
Walk – The Goyt, White Coppice, Brinscall. Lunch in The Cottage Tea Room or fish and chips al fresco.

(1) RIVINGTON (North of) – 12 Miles
Park on Rivington Hall Barn CP. SD 633 145 (BL6 7SB).
Walk – Hempshaw’s, Lead Mines Clough, Manor House, Anglezarke Res (N end), White House, Limbrick, Upper Riv Res (W side), Rivington.
(2) RIVINGTON – 8.5 Miles
Cars to Walsuches, park near the entrance to Curley’s, BL6 6PP. GR SD 65871 11455.
Walk – Rivington Pike, Pigeon Tower, Memorial Pinetum and return via Wilderswood.
(3/4) CUERDON VALLEY – 6.5 Miles
Meet at Car Park end of Factory Lane Whittle le Woods (small charge), PR6 7EA. GR SD 576 217. Look out for John the Baptist Church.
Walk – In area dependant on weather.
