(1) Grange-Over-Sands and Hampsfell – 10.5 miles
Car Park is at bottom of Windermere Road (B5271) very near junction with B5277, LA11 6EE. Grid Ref SD 411 783.
Walk – car parl at start of B5271, Hampsfell, Green Bank, Over Ridge, How Barrow, Cartmel racecourse, Grange Fell Golf Club, the old swimming pool on waterfront, along promenade to railway station and start of B2571 car park.
(2) Hoghton Tower – 9 miles
Park in Chapel Lane, Hoghton. Just beyond the 30 sign, PR5 0RY. GR SD 614 266.
Walk – Hoghton, Samlesbury Bottoms, Nabs Head, Riley Green.
(3) Rabbit Rooks Loop – 7.3 miles
Cars to Wigan Investment Centre, WN3 5BA. Please park at the back of car park by the trees
Walk – Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Rabbit Rocks, Amberswood Common then back along Leigh branch of L&L canal.
(4) Valley Delights, Parbold – 5 miles
Meet at the large lay-by on the right of the A5209 1.5m after crossing M6 from direction of Standish. GR 517 109. Nearest post code: WN6 9EQ.
A walk in the Parbold area leading via Chapel House Bridge, the Leeds Liverpool Canal and Gillibarnd House to Fairy.

(1) Anglezarke – 10.7 miles
Start at car park near SE end of Anglezarke Reservoir, PR6 9DQ. SD 621 161.
Walk – Lead Mines Clough, Round Loaf, Drinkwaters, Great Hill, Hordern Pasture, Yarrow Res, Anglezarke car park.
(2) Prestwich Clough – 9 miles

Walk – Prestwich Clough, Philips Park, Clifton Country Park and return.
(3) Bob Smithy (No Stiles) – 7 miles
Meet at Old Kiln Lane, Opposite the Bob Smithy, BL1 7PX.
Walk – Burnt Edge, Wallsuches, High Rid.
(4) Horrocks Fold – 4/5 miles
Meet at Horrocks Fold car park off Scout Road. GR 695 131.
Walk – Horrocks Wood, Smithills Open Farm, Smithills Hall, Moss Bank Park, Barrow Bridge, Sheep House Farm.

(1) Calder Vale Walk – 12 miles
Small Car Park on Delph Lane (with Delph Lane sign), PR3 1UP. SD 546 455. Just north of Garden Centre and Marina on A6, turn right over railway and right again then left on road to Brock Mill Lane T junction. Turn left then immediately turn right then left again when you get to Delph Lane.
Walk – High Moor, Butt Hill, Calder Vale, Oakenclough, Bleasdale Tower.
(2) Reclaimed Riches – 8 miles
Cars to Rufford Station Car Park or roadside parking near the marina, L40 1TB. GR SD 467 156.
Walk – Mawdesley Moss, Cedar Farm, Black Moor, Wham Bridge, Leeds and Liverpool Canal and return.
(3) Walk on the Wyreside Brooks – 6 miles
Meet at Marsh Mill Village, Thornton, Cleveleys. To the rear of the Windmill – Free car park, FY5 4JZ.
Walk – Wyre Estuary, Little Thornton, Skipool return to Thornton.
(4) Old Mother’s Wood – 5 miles
Meet at Barlow Institute car park, BL7 0AP.

(5) Queens Park Walk – 2.5/3 miles
Cars to Chorley New Road main gate. Park on road nearby.
Walk – Park, Middlebrook, Heaton Fold Garden Centre. Lunch in park cafe.

(2) Freeholds Top and Brown Wardle – 8.5 miles
Cars to Watergrove Reservoir car park. Turn left off the A58 Rochdale to Littleborough road towards Wardle and drive through the village, past the Globe Inn to the car park. Nearest postcode OL12 9NH. GR SD 911 176.
Walk – Watergrove Reservoir, Rough Hill, Freeholds Top, Hades Hill, Brown Wardle and return.
(3) Clough and Farms Round Smithills – 7.5 miles
